A rental search should not become a screening file.
Placyn collects only the account and preference information needed to run saved rental searches, shortlists, sign-in, and consented alerts.
Information Placyn handles
- Your email address for passwordless sign-in.
- Your name and, if you choose to add it, a mobile number and text-message consent.
- Saved rental searches, alert settings, and rentals marked Love, Like, or Pass.
- Basic technical and security records needed to operate and protect the service.
How that information is used
Placyn uses account data to authenticate you, keep your saved search and shortlist in sync, deliver alerts you enable, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. Authorized team members may access account and alert information when needed for support and operations.
Listing managers do not receive your Placyn profile
Placyn does not send your email, mobile number, saved searches, or Love/Like/Pass choices to listing managers. When you use a phone or email link on a rental page, your device opens that contact method and you choose what to send.
Service providers and separate sign-in
Placyn uses service providers for secure account storage and email delivery. Its sign-in identity, profile, rental searches, and saved-rental data are kept in a Placyn-only account system, separate from related The Ulu Team services. Service providers process information only to perform their contracted functions, and data may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the service.
Retention, choices, and deletion
You can remove individual saved searches and rental choices from your account. To request deletion of your Placyn account and its associated rental data, use the contact page. A Placyn deletion does not delete or alter data you may have in another The Ulu Team service.
Tracking and sale of personal information
Placyn does not currently run third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal information. If those practices change, this page should be updated before the change goes live.
